The Museum Merghelynck will re-open its doors as from the Easter Holidays after a thorough renovation. This mansion is a perfect reconstruction of the building which dates from 1774. In beautifully decorated parlors and boudoirs you can see French styled furniture, paintings and silverware, saved from the fires of the First World War. There is also a unique collection of Chinese and Japanese porcelain. The guide tells all about the family Merghelynck. The odd one of our museums!
